Inviting a colleague

An organisation's administrator can invite a colleague with a single-use link, valid for 14 days. We don't send it for you.

Updated 17 October 2026

Only your organisation's administrator — the person who set it up — can invite colleagues. A colleague who joins is a member: they see and work on the organisation's requests, but they can't invite or remove anyone.

  • An invitation is a link for one address. It works once and for 14 days.
  • We don't send it. The administrator copies the link and sends it to the colleague themselves, from their own mailbox or chat. The link is shown once, when it is created; if it is lost, withdraw the invitation and make a new one.
  • An administrator can withdraw an invitation at any time before it is used.
  • A colleague's account is made for the address on the invitation. Someone who already has an account at that address signs in instead.

You do this in Settings → Organisation: enter the colleague's address, copy the link it shows, and send it yourself. The same place lists your team and any open invitations, which you can revoke.
