How it works
Checking what Abroadocs will search for
The "What I'll search for" card shows only the services you asked for, and one button starts the search. Any caution is written under Abroadocs's message.

As soon as a search can run — usually with Abroadocs's first reply — you'll see, under that reply, a card headed "What I'll search for". Abroadocs's optional questions about form, deadline, volume or delivery don't hold it back: you can answer them or press Find providers straight away. Only a fact the search can't run without keeps the card back until you answer. The card shows:
- The services you asked for — and only those. If a closely related service might help (a translation alongside an apostille, for example), Abroadocs asks you once, as a question. Answer "yes" to add it. Abroadocs never adds a service you didn't ask for.
- The details each search will use, such as "Academic diploma · United Kingdom → Spain".
- Anything Abroadocs assumed — for example the language of a Brazilian document — marked as an assumption. Where a translation is certified rather than sworn because the country has no sworn translators, the card says so.
To correct a detail, press Change beside it: the start of a sentence appears in the message box for you to finish and send. Or simply tell Vlad — "it's actually from Ireland". To drop a service, remove it from the card or say so.
When the card looks right, press Find providers. If Abroadocs has a caution for you, it is written under Abroadocs's message, and the button reads Continue and find providers: pressing it records that you have read the note. This is not a commitment to anything. It only tells Abroadocs what to search for, and you can change it and search again as often as you like.
A caution always says what to do next. A note about your deadline, for example, says that the usual time for this kind of work may be short for your date, and then: tell Vlad if the date can move, or search now — after the search each provider shows the turnaround it publishes, and Vlad says which of them fit your date. Vlad never states how long an authority will take: nobody here knows that, so it is never guessed.
