How it works
How to describe what you need
Say what the document is, where it comes from, where it is going, and any deadline. "Not sure" is a fine answer.
Updated 17 October 2026
Write the way you would to a colleague. The details that help Abroadocs most are:
- The document — a birth certificate, a diploma, a company extract, a contract…
- Where it comes from — the country that issued it
- Where it is going — the country, and the office or institution that will receive it, if you know
- The languages — for a translation, from which language into which
- The service, if you know it — a certified or sworn translation, an apostille, a notarisation…
- Your deadline, if you have one
- The form — an original paper document, a certified copy or a scan — and whether you need paper or digital delivery
You don't need all of these. "I don't know" or "not sure" is always an acceptable answer. Abroadocs then runs a broader search instead of stopping to wait.
Several documents at once. Name them all in one message — "the Gazette extract, the articles of association and a board resolution, all apostilled and translated into English". Vlad keeps each one, with the steps you asked for on it, and shows them above the services. If one is already done, say so — "the articles have already been apostilled" — and that step is marked as done in your words; Vlad never assumes a step is done, needed, or has to come in a particular order. After the search, each service says which documents it is for, and one line counts how many of your tasks have providers.
Examples that work well
- "Apostille for a UK university degree certificate, to be used in Spain."
- "Sworn translation of a German commercial register extract into Spanish, needed in Madrid within two weeks."
- "We're setting up a subsidiary in Portugal and need a company formation provider."
