How AI is used, and what OpenAI receives
AI reads your messages, writes replies and searches the web. Abroadocs's code checks everything it proposes.
Updated 17 October 2026
Abroadocs uses AI models from OpenAI for three jobs:
- Reading your messages, and any uploaded file's text, to pick out the details a search needs.
- Writing Abroadocs's replies to you.
- Searching the web for candidate providers.
The AI proposes; Vlad's code decides. When the AI names a country, it must quote your own words for it, and the code checks that quote. Everything else it understood is shown back to you to correct. Every provider it suggests is checked against the provider's own website before you see it. The AI can't save anything, contact anyone or decide what you are shown.
What OpenAI receives: the text of your conversation, any text read from your files, and the search details. It doesn't receive your account details — instead of your name or email, it gets a scrambled identifier used to prevent abuse.
Retention at OpenAI: Vlad asks OpenAI not to store conversations. As the AI notice you accept says, OpenAI may still keep data for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days, because Vlad does not currently have OpenAI's Zero Data Retention arrangement.
Training: Vlad does not use your requests to train any AI model.
